Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using NetSkill, you agree to these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the user, and NetSkill. By accessing or using any part of the platform, including browsing courses, creating an account, watching video tutorials, or downloading any materials, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform and refrain from accessing any content or services provided through NetSkill. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice, and your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

2. Eligibility

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least thirteen years of age or have obtained parental consent to use the platform. You also confirm that all registration information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization or educational institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. NetSkill reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you have authorized such activities. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this obligation. You may not use another person's account at any time without the express permission of the account holder. Each account is for personal use only and cannot be shared with multiple users unless specifically authorized by NetSkill in writing. You may not transfer your account to any other person or entity without our prior written consent.

4. Platform Use

You agree not to misuse the platform, disrupt services, upload harmful content, or attempt unauthorized access to any system or account.

Specifically, you agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities: copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the platform in any medium, including automated or non-automated scraping; using any automated system, including robots, spiders, or similar devices, to access or interact with the platform; attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security of, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the platform; uploading, posting, or transmitting any content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise violates any law; impersonating any person or entity or falsely stating or otherwise misrepresenting your affiliation with a person or entity; intentionally or unintentionally violating any applicable local, state, national, or international law; or collecting or storing personal data about other users without their express permission. We reserve the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in our sole discretion, violates this provision, including suspending or terminating your account and reporting you to law enforcement authorities.

5. Content & Certificates

All educational content belongs to NetSkill or its licensors. Certificates are issued based on platform completion records and may be revoked for abuse or fraud.

The video tutorials, course materials, text, graphics, images, quizzes, and all other content available on NetSkill are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the content for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not download, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content without prior written permission from NetSkill. Certificates of completion are provided as a record of your progress through a course. They do not represent official academic credit, professional certification, or employment qualification unless explicitly stated. We reserve the right to revoke any certificate if we determine, in our sole discretion, that it was obtained through fraudulent means, automated systems, or any violation of these terms. Misrepresentation of NetSkill certificates for professional or academic purposes is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

NetSkill is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NetSkill disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the platform or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. In no event shall NetSkill, its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the platform is to discontinue your use of it.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise unacceptable. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. All provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination, including but not limited to intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability, shall survive termination.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

We will notify registered users of material changes via email or through a prominent notice on the platform. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any updates. Changes take effect immediately upon posting unless otherwise stated. Your continued use of NetSkill after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you must stop using the platform and terminate your account. The date at the top of this page indicates when these terms were last updated.

9. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the Philippines. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.
